Ornamental grasses - tray

Ornamental grasses
Tray

In recent years ornamental grasses have become increasingly popular among our customers. We have responded to this demand and now produce more than a million grasses annually; Carex, Imperata, Liriope, Miscanthus, Panicum and Pennisetum are the most important varieties. All cuttings are torn off from the parent plant and pushed into the tray by hand.

When taking cuttings of ornamental grasses it is extremely important that all land plants are free of weeds. For this reason we cultivate most land plants from our own stock of parent plants. Between November and March of each year, we harvest and process the land plants, after which we plant new basic plant propagation material again in April and May. This ensures that our land plants remain vital and we can adjust our product range to market developments.
