Cutting tunnels
Not all plants benefit from very high humidity. For this reason, one zone in our greenhouse is fitted with permanent cutting tunnels. These tunnels have been tailor-made for us. Again, we have opted for model in which we can work effectively and efficiently.
The tunnels are such that an employee can roll the polythene up and down single-handed. This area is approximately 2500 m2 and approximately 2.1 million cuttings can be rooted simultaneously. After rooting, the polythene foil is rolled up and the cuttings are gradually hardened. In this zone we can also apply crop protection products to the cuttings via the misting boom.
