We have a Venlo 'warehouse' greenhouse of 12,000 m2 at our disposal. This is a modern greenhouse with a post height of 4.50 metres and 26 identical roofs, each of 8 metres. Retractable walls are installed between sections enabling us to give certain cuttings more water and others less.
As cultivation bed, we have chosen a 15 cm lava surface with horizontal drainage. This enables use to recirculate the water. The beds are interspersed with U profiles enabling us to move cuttings quickly using CC trolleys.
The exterior of the greenhouse is fitted with rails to simplify cleaning the roof.
The greenhouse is divided into five different zones. The climate within each zone is individually regulated by means of a climate computer in combination with shade netting. The climate computer also regulates fertilization and the humidity. The shade netting prevents sunlight from damaging the cuttings.
